Christmas Craft Sales!

Well, the light dusting of snow and the crisp feel in the air this weekend sure makes me think of winter . . . and upcoming sales!

This Saturday (Nov 15), I will be at Calvin Christian's sale from 10 to 3. The Miles Mac Craft Sale will also be from 10 to 3 on Saturday, November 29th. The third sale that I'm signed up for is the 25th Annual Tuxedo Holiday Craft Sale on Sunday, December 7th from 11 to 4.

Craft sales are the perfect place to find handmade items, made from the heart!  :)

Hello Fall!

I made an adorable squirrel for a custom order recently. I loved it so much that I made a second one and attached it to a wreath for my classroom door!

Having a whale of a time . . .

On the May long weekend, I needed a project to work on . . . So I created these whales for my nephews' bathroom. Can't wait to see them up!

Also, I'm excited to be accepted into the Winnipeg Makers' Market Craft Sale on June 6th from 5 to 10. This monthly sale has been going on for the last little bit. Totally pumped to try it out!

Summer Sales!

I've just sent in my applications for some local summer Farmer's Markets. You can find me at . . .

The Downtown Biz's Farmer's Market at the Hydro Building on Thursdays from 10 to 4. I will be there on: July 3 and 17, August 7, 14, and 28.

Pineridge Hollow's Farmer's Market runs on Saturdays from 9 to 1. I will be out there on: July 12 and 26, August 16 and 23, and September 13th.

The Icelandic Festival in Gimli is always a fun time! See you on August 2, 3, 4 from 10 to 6

For the first time, The Forks is holding a farmer's market on Sundays from 11 to 4. I will be trying it out on July 20 and August 24.

Well, the first day of Spring has come and gone . . . you definitely can't see any Springy things appearing in Winnipeg, yet! However, I'm looking forward to the upcoming Farmer's Market sale at the hydro building this Thursday. I participated in the market on Thursdays during the summer and it was fantastic! C'mon down between 10 and 4!

MORE nursery creations!

My sister decided that my nephew's nursery needed one more woodland animal, so we decided on a skunk. I think it's pretty stinkin' cute! Ha Ha

I also made this sweet, little giraffe for a co-worker that just had her 2nd baby. I am so pleased with how it turned out!

First sale of 2014!

I'm looking forward to the first craft sale of 2014! I've been accepted to "Point Douglas is for Lovers" on February 8th from 12 to 4 at Grace Point Church - 137 Euclid. This sale is shaping up to be a very unique one . . . something tells me it will be similar to "This Ain't Your Grandma's Craft Sale" from back-in-the-day (which I adored!).

My nephew arrived safe and sound last week and luckily all the woodland animals were ready to go! Can't wait to see them installed in the nursery!

Woodland Nursery

We are super excited to be welcoming a new addition into our family! My sister is expecting a 2nd baby in the next few weeks. With her first, I offered to help decorate the nursery (a monster theme), so it's only fair to do the same with the 2nd on the way! My sister chose a woodland animal theme this time around. She is creating lots of wall art, and our mom is making a quilt. I have been busy making 5 woodland animals for the wall of the nursery. Here is a sneak peek:
